Vodka & IceVodka & Ice by Kimelene Carr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book Title : Vodka& Ice- A poetry collection

Author : Kimelene Carr

Blurb/Theme :
Vodka & Ice -A collection of poems that gives voice to depression, loneliness, heartbreak and the other pungent feelings that can plague existence.

About:
The cover and the title is very appropriate for the theme of the book.

I am an ardent fan of the author’s writings as I tend to connect with her poetry a lot. Tropical Sunsets in Delhian Nights was also a very beautiful collection which I enjoyed reading.

I loved all the poems especially –
The beginning after goodbye . I loved the line “but nothing stands now, chapters have come to an end”.

The Sans- The description of the wick is very interesting as I love the oil lamps with wick, it has been an all time favourite of mine.

My favourite lines are from Somehow – “Somehow you have become the destination at the end of the path that my heart will always follow”

I enjoyed reading this collection as always. I re-read it thrice.

I wish Kimelene Carr all the very best for her future authorship works.

My rating is
Narration:5/5
Story plot:5/5
Cover:5/5
